Frank Smith & Co Solicitors are delighted to have secured membership to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) – the mark of excellence for solicitors in the home buying process.
Frank Smith & Co Solicitors underwent rigorous assessment by the Law Society in order to secure CQS status, which marks the firm out as one that meets high standards in residential conveyancing.
The scheme aims to create a “trusted community” of practitioners who undergo strict assessment, compulsory training, random audits and annual reviews in order to maintain CQS status.
In the process of buying property, most mortgage lenders will only select a law firm to act on their behalf that has been pre-approved, with CQS membership being a pre-requisite.
CQS is open only to members of the Law Society and to those who meet the demanding standards the scheme sets and has the support of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Societies Association, and the Association of British Insurers.
Managing Partner Frank Smith said: “I am proud that we have achieved the standards of practice and integrity to be accredited the CQS award. This makes it clear how high the standard of our residential conveyancing is and how hard the residential team at Frank Smith & Co Solicitors has worked to achieve this recognition. This confirms that the residential conveyancing advice we offer is above and beyond the level expected by clients”.
